All orders include delivery of our UTrucking kit (5 boxes, tape, bubble wrap) to your dorm room/apartment. Kits are delivered at least five days in advance of your pickup date. For special requests or additional packing supplies, please do not hesitate to call us at (314) 266-8878 or fill out the contact form.

Each item should be clearly labeled with your name, service (Storage or Shipping), and item count (e.g., 1 of 6, 2 of 6). Make sure to label and include unboxed items in the count. This helps ensure everything stays organized and returned correctly.

Yes. If you purchased extra kits that are unopened and unused, we can issue a $30 refund per kit upon request. Just let us know how many kits you won't be using and we'll take care of it. Refunds are processed via Venmo or check.

You only pay for the number of boxes you actually store. If you have extra unused boxes, just leave them with your labeled items at pickup and our team will take them back.

Summer Storage is priced per item based on the pricing table — not per order. You can use the pricing calculator on our Summer Storage product page to get a quick estimate, or call us and tell us what you're storing (boxes, suitcases, bins, larger items) and we'll get you an estimate.

Why is Summer Storage billed as a fixed 4-month term?
The term includes pickup and delivery anywhere in St. Louis (no extra trip fees) and $100 of insurance for boxed and bagged items. Even if you want delivery earlier in the summer, the storage term stays fixed while we accommodate your items in our facility.

Most students register in early May and schedule pickup on or after the date they leave campus. If you're in WashU housing, you don't need to be present, we coordinate with the university to have late access to WashU dorms. If you're not in university housing, we ask that you be there or let us know how to access your items.

Through our partnership with WashU, you can leave your packed and labeled items in your locked room at move-out. Our team will access your room after you leave, pick up your items, and store them safely. At move-in, we deliver everything back to your room before you arrive so it's ready when you get there.

Can I store items that don't fit in a box?
Yes. You can store large or loose items like furniture, lamps, or rugs. There are no size or quantity limits for storage. For shipping, items must be boxed or bagged due to carrier requirements.

Yes. Many students choose to store some items for the summer and ship others home. Just sign up for both services and we'll pick everything up at the same time. Please make sure to label items accordingly, separated by shipping and storage.

Yes. We service both on-campus and off-campus housing and can deliver or pick up from any apartment or home in St. Louis.

We offer flexible delivery throughout the summer and school year. Just reach out to schedule an earlier return and we'll coordinate a time that works. Note that summer storage is billed as a fixed 4-month term regardless of when in the summer you take delivery. We do not charge extra for early delivery.

For students in WashU housing, we deliver during Early Access before your scheduled move-in time, so your items will already be in your room when you arrive on campus. Please make sure to fill out the late access form.

Can I store luggage and unboxed items along with my boxes? Do I need to label them separately?
Yes. Place everything together at pickup and put a label on each unboxed item so it's tagged and tracked correctly. Your kit includes sticker labels for loose items like luggage.
Can you store fragile items like a guitar safely?
Can you store fragile items like a guitar safely?
Yes. Fragile items are stored in protected areas and we won't stack anything on top of them. While we are committed to keeping your items safe, please make sure to pack them accordingly with bubble wrap (provided in your UTrucking kit) and additional padding if needed.
You can also add extra insurance during registration for additional coverage. Just let us know if you have special handling requests and we'll note it on your order.

Yes. When you schedule your return delivery, just provide any St. Louis address, dorm or an off-campus address, and we'll deliver everything there.

Can you ship my belongings home instead of storing them?
Yes. With our Home Shipping service, we deliver a kit with boxes, tape, and packing materials. You pack everything, then we pick it up and ship it to your home address. More info at here.

Home Shipping is a $95 flat rate per box. You only pay for what you ship. Surcharges of $25 or more may apply for overweight items (70+ lbs), oversized items, or unboxed/unbagged items where we need to supply or build a box.

Tracking is emailed to you after pickup and shipment so you can follow your package to its destination. If you share your order number, we can confirm the email address on file.

Yes, we can pick up leftover supplies along with your items. Only unopened kits are eligible for a refund.

Are appliance rentals for the full year or just one semester?
Rental prices are for the full year (both semesters). You may return your rental at any time, but we do not accommodate refunds for early returns. If you need to rent for only one semester, please fill out the contact form with your request.

If your rental microwave or fridge stops working, don't worry, all of our appliances are backed by our Quality Guarantee. Every appliance is professionally cleaned, inspected, and tested to meet our strict quality standards, and if anything goes wrong during your rental period, we'll replace it free of charge. Simply contact us with your building and room number, and we'll arrange a replacement and send you an estimated delivery day.

Once we've checked in your appliance, we'll process the deposit refund. Just let us know whether you'd prefer Venmo or a check. If Venmo, share your handle; if a check, confirm your mailing address.
