Summer Storage

1. Pack your items
   Use your included UTrucking Kit (5 boxes, tape, and bubble wrap) and pack any boxes, bags, or loose items you plan to store.
   
   
2. Leave everything in your room
   Leave all labeled items in your dorm room or apartment. If you live in WashU on campus housing you do not need to be present for pickup.
   
   
3. We pick it up
   Our team picks up directly from your dorm room or apartment.
   
   
4. We store it for the summer
   Your items are stored in our secure facility. Pricing is based on what you store and billed after pickup.
   
   
5. We deliver it back
   When you return, we’ll bring everything back to your dorm room or apartment.

1. Fill out your pickup details

After adding to cart, enter your pickup information, including:

• Student name

• Pickup date

• Pickup time window

• Pickup location (University housing or non-university housing)

• Building and room number

2. Select how many UTrucking Kits you’d like.

Your first kit (5 boxes, tape, and bubble wrap) is included with registration, and additional kits are $30 each.

3. Add Summer Storage to your cart

Add summer storage to your cart and checkout.

4. Receive your UTrucking Kit

Your kit will be delivered at least 5 days before pickup, giving you time to pack your belongings before move-out.

5. Pack and leave items in your room

Pack your belongings and leave them in your dorm room or apartment.

6. Fill out the late access form

Complete the Late Access Form with your item details and photos so our team can securely access your room and pick up your belongings.

Our team will pick up your items and store them securely for the summer.

7. Complete Storage Item Return

Complete Storage Item Return on our website by 7/31/26 with your fall housing so we know where to deliver your items. You don't need to know your fall housing assignment to register for Summer Storage. Just fill it out anytime over the summer before 7/31.

If you're living in University housing, we'll coordinate access to your new room so your items are waiting when you arrive. If you're in an off-campus apartment, we'll deliver to you at your scheduled date and time.
